New Pattern Release- Shabnam a Mosaic table runner

Welcome to the world of mosaic crochet! If you’re a fan of this technique, then you’re going to love my latest pattern release: Shabnam, A Mosaic Table Runner.

Mosaic crochet is a technique that creates stunning colorwork designs using simple stitches. It’s a popular choice among crocheters because it allows you to add pops of color to your projects without the need for complicated color changes.

If you’re new to mosaic crochet, my latest pattern release, Shabnam, A Mosaic Table Runner, is the perfect project to get you started. This beautiful overlay mosaic design is suitable for crocheters of all skill levels and includes detailed instructions and step-by-step written instructions to guide you through the process.

The Shabnam pattern is written in standard American crochet terms and includes a detailed materials list. It uses only basic crochet stitches, making it a great choice for those who are new to mosaic crochet. It’s also a great pattern for more experienced crocheters who are looking to try their hand at this technique.

One of the things I love most about the Shabnam pattern is its versatility. You can use any colors you like to make it your own, or even change the size to suit your needs. It would make a great addition to any table setting, or even as a wall hanging or throw blanket.

Before you get started on the Shabnam pattern, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the basics of mosaic crochet. First, you’ll need to choose your yarn and hook. I recommend using a medium-weight yarn and a crochet hook that is appropriate for the yarn you’ve chosen.

Next, you’ll need to decide on your color scheme. Mosaic crochet is all about using color to create the design, so choosing the right colors is crucial. I recommend choosing at least four colors for the Shabnam pattern, but you can use as many as you like. Just be sure to choose colors that complement each other and have good contrast.

Once you have your materials and colors ready, it’s time to start crocheting! The Shabnam pattern uses a combination of single crochets, double crochets, and slip stitches to create the mosaic design. The pattern includes step-by-step instructions and charts to guide you through the process.

One thing to keep in mind when working on the Shabnam pattern is that it’s important to pay attention to your tension. To maintain even tension, I recommend using a slightly larger crochet hook than you would normally use for the yarn you’ve chosen.

Mosaic crochet is a technique that requires a bit of practice and patience, but the end result is worth it. The Shabnam pattern is a great project to get you started, and with a bit of time and effort, you’ll be able to create a beautiful and unique piece that will be the envy of all your friends.

So, are you ready to give mosaic crochet a try? The Shabnam pattern is now available for purchase, and I can’t wait to see what you create!

My first CAL – Maryam Square

I started working on my first CAL back in May 2022. I was hoping to make it ready and announce it on my dad’s 85th birthday on June 1st, 2022. But it was a super busy time for me as I am still in school studying totally different stuff.

I found amazing testers and we work so hard to get everything going as fast as possible, but unfortunately, I lost my dad in July and I was not feeling so well to continue working as I was so depressed. My dad lived in our home country and I couldn’t even attend his funeral, he just left me heartbroken and very sad.

I tried to pull myself together, so started to work on my first CAL again. We were able to finalize the pattern and prepare 6 parts in total. The starting date was decided to be Sep 16.

Four parts have already been released although the number of participants is not as high as I expected, still, it is a great achievement that more than 100 people trust me and purchased my pattern, and love it as much as I do!

If ever you like to join the fun we have in this CAL, purchase the discounted pattern from my Ravelry store. This offer (50%) is valid only during the CAL (Sep 16 – Nov 4)

You can always ask questions if you have any in my Facebook group.

Hope you enjoy hooking and have fun!

First Designversary!

One year ago, on June 1st, 2021, I found the courage to publish my very first design. I remember how it seemed hard to me at first but I never forget the excitement of bringing my talent up to the attention of other people all around the world. It was definitely a big jump for me out of my comfort zone, but absolutely worth it. I will always have my regret why I haven’t started earlier.

I had lots of ups and downs in the past 12 months. I thought maybe people are not as excited as myself to try a pattern by a new, yet unknown designer. sometimes discouraged to continue as I didn’t receive any feedback from the potential buyers. But I do appreciate and cherish any sales although it was not a big number compared to well-known designers like Tinna, still counts as an accomplishment.

Now I have 5 published patterns that l love as my babies. And my 2022 resolution was to design 100 patterns in the second year of being a designer. Charts of 25 patterns are ready now. They are close to being tested as I have to work on their written instructions first.

I wanted to announce a CAL for this anniversary, but unfortunately, I needed more time to get ready for my first CAL. Like all new things and the first time doing, I had to learn the process myself and add adaptations to my pattern called Maryam in Square CAL.

As the pattern was not tested by the professional testers, I was introduced to a group of professional testers by a Facebook friend. Thanks to Laurene who helped me get in touch with these amazing ladies. So the CAL is under test now and I will announce the starting date as soon as the test finishes and the pattern is ready to get published. Stay tuned!

Last but not least, I do have two running promotions until the end of June 2022:

My Ravelry store

Buy2get3rdFree, redeem this promo code here to get a free pattern of your choice. Remember to add 3 patterns and in the check out you pay only for two and the 3rd will be free.

You can support me by buying me a coffee here

Thank you for your support and I look forward to creating more beautiful patterns and absolutely valuable content.

Love

Happy New Year

We said goodbye to 2021, 3 days ago, hoping this new year brings more health and safety to humankind and promises joyful moments for all people around the world. Happy New Year Everyone.

Today, I have finally released my third version of Mosaic Pine Tree on Ravelry .

A beautiful project made by one of my testers. Credit to Fatemeh Johari Fard

A pattern for all seasons!

Once again I am so excited to announce a pattern release. This is the third version of my first pattern called Mosaic Pine Tree CAL. Yes, another Pine tree! My favorite tree. If I would be able to choose what kind of creature to be in my next life, I would definitely select to be a Pine tree, evergreen, beautiful, and of course strong.

The pattern got tested back in November but I was so busy with my final exams. I need to work harder and faster to finish the written instruction before Christmas and the holidays. Keep in mind that this will be a great challenge for the upcoming holidays and will keep you busy making beautiful projects.

I was not lucky enough to see the projects made from the last two patterns. I wish the buyers could have shared some beautiful pictures of their projects. I am not a well-known designer though!

Anyway, I will be free for full 24 days before next semester in January 2022 and will work on my unfinished projects and patterns. I am writing a book about mosaic crochet as well. I started to take notes in 2020 and I guess I have enough notes on hand and I am ready now to work more on it. I hope to finish this project before March 2022. I will self-publish this book on googleplay book. Stay tuned!

Happy holidays and Merry Chrismas
